2/2 pilot operated solenoid valves
This type of valve is ideal for mains water supply because
it will provide a high flow rate and mains water will almost always supply
sufficient pressure differentials to operate the valve, for example in a
water metering system.
Some M&M solenoid valves are fitted with an Anti-Water-Hammer
device, water hammer is a common problem in mains water systems. An example
of a mains water system where M&M have used a pilot operated valve is an
electronic mixer tap application.
Air compressor dump valve [pdf]
The large orifice and fast operating speed provides a quick dump time. Can be used in conjunction
with one of our Ma-Ter pressure switches.
Pumped lubricating oil
Providing the oil at sufficient pressure a pilot operated valve is ideal for a lubricating oil system.
